Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
This was one cheesy Danish. And Alicia was good but that role felt like nothingness. Her performance in "Ex Machina" was a better introduction to the qualities that make her interesting.
Also, Monsieur Hooper gave it his best shot, and I don't doubt his intentions, but I feel like most of the target audience will be able to call his bluff. It's no surprise that the real-life story of Lili and Gerda isn't as straightforward or saccharine as this film.…
