The Muppet Movie 1979
wish the ending was a little more oomphy ykno? idk. definitely a fun movie tho

Muppets Most Wanted 2014
not only does it lose the heart and charm of its predecessor, but it throws away the final conclusive moments thereof for the sake of an entirely dissonant new plot and cheap jokes!
not a fan of gervais or fey at all in this movie; something about their tongue in cheek performances doesn’t play well when compared to the genuinely heartfelt showstoppers from 2011, segal and adams.
i’ll say that the music is way better than i remember. that’s about the one good thing i have to say about the movie.
