"I vaguely remember someone sweet and romantic, who made me feel like I wasn't alone anymore. Someone who had respect for who I was."
I do love this movie because it's so painfully real, but it's the hardest to get through. I hate watching it, the first two capture the urgency of being in love with so little time while not thinking about the world around them that this one slaps you in the face firmly with the reality and the consequences of their decision to be together. And honestly it just fucking hurts to watch my white parents fight like that lol
