Meltober 2018 I
This is definitely a must-see in theatres. My first ever horror film in a theatre and it was 100% worth it. It’s a film that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but also doesn’t take itself too lightly. It’s overall a lot of fun, and the ending is a nonstop thrill ride.
Obviously not as good as the original, but it’s definitely a respectable sequel, with some easy to miss, and some obvious references to the original.
Also, there are some kickass women (Jamie Lee Curtis and Judy Greer, duh) there too, which is always an automatic 4 in my book.
Overall, this is a great one to see in theaters with a sea of people, and it’s a respectful sequel that cares about the original (never-to-be-forgotten) classic, unlike most films today, and it’s a lot of fun!
