    Official Secrets

Incredible film with a powerfull story.

I haven't heard this case before, and in the end I was astonished.

  • Kursk

Touching film about de Kursk incident.

  • The Lodge

    The Lodge

This movie starts really strong and it establish characters and motivations very well.

I was not expecting the dark paths that the storyline take, but I was pleasantly surprised with it.

Full of twists that got me by surprise, this film has really shocking moments that left me open mouthed.

    Loved this one.

  • Host

This is proof that, in movies, execution is way more important than the concept.

Host is a simple movie with a simple concept. Nonetheless, is really scary because it was executed very well.

The actors were great and believable, although some character decisions were a bit questionable to say the least.

The runtime is lower than your average film (56 minutes), but it's for the best in this type of film (on screen).

If you like spooks, watch this one, highly recomended!

  • The Imposter

    The Imposter

I can't belive this was a real story! What a absolute and bizarre documentary!

Highly recomended if you love true crime documentaries.

Go in blind and expect to be mind blown.

  • Papillon

Never read the book or saw any adaptations of this story. That beeing said, I can only say that this is a great prison escape film.

Great scenes, the acting not so great by the lead character but Malek does a great job on delivering another outstanding performance.

Althought the end felt a bit anti climatic.

  • The Wretched

    The Wretched

This movie is a breath of fresh air in the current horror genre.

It has a good story, nothing you haven't seen in other movies, but a interesting one that kept me captivated all through the film.

The visual effects did it's purpose and it had really creepy imagery about this witch (?). Almost felt like a creepy pasta.

I was afraid that the ending would ruined it all, but I was pleasantly surprised.

    I don't know, maybe because pretty…

  • The Room

    The Room

Sometimes, when a movie has a interesting idea, it doesn't always deliver (I'm looking at you The Platform).

Well, this movie absolutely deliveres with a good concept and a fairly good plot.

It has it's flaws, like being a little predictable and the characters could've made smarter decisions, although we didn't had a movie of they did. Sometimes, you need to something stupid to have a story you know?

Good thriller, watch it if you can.

  • Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness

    Another netflix documentary classic.

Such a bizarre and incredible story, one of those cases where reality surpasses any fiction.

Well researched and well told, I'm sure I'm not the first to tell you to watch this, but seriously watch this.

  • The Hunt

    The Hunt

This movie is very self aware of it's unoriginal concept, thus making it very original in the execution.
Watching this one was a great time, and I didn't feel it was predictable.
Funny and gory, this is without a doubt one of the 2020 bests so far.

It's the kind of movie that I wish Tarantino was still doing. It felt like the Bride from Kill Bill was being hunted.

  • Knives Out

    Knives Out

What a nice surprise! We live in a time where we don't get good murder mysteries movies anymore, but this is the exception.

The plot is up to par with the classic murder mysteries authors from decades ago.

The end and the twist doesn't disappoint (in my opinion) and is made in a very clever way.

Daniel Craig was great in this one.

  • Sad Hill Unearthed

    Sad Hill Unearthed

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is one of my favorite movie of all time (Top 3).
This documentary is about a group of fans of the film that decide to unearth and recover the famous cemetery of Sad Hill, where the conclusion of GBU takes place. I've seen that scene (one of the best in cinema history) countless times, so this subject is very dear to me.
I liked this documentary alot, it shows the love that people have for this art called cinema.
If you love the movie, you will love this doc.
