I love when a movie educates you but also entertains you. Apollo 13 does a solid job at both. Ron Howard's standard approach to filmmaking and the inclusion of a little bit of everything in terms of story makes this remarkable event feel a bit average. There's some moments of greatness but the majority of this isn't at the level it could be at.
