Daniel Craig only playing characters with a southern(?) accent from now on, please and thank you.
One of my most anticipated films of 2019 and man, did Rian Johnson deliver. He's one talented dude. Really well crafted piece with a smart and intricately spun script. Kept me engaged all throughout as I couldn't help but play detective as the movie went along.
Cast standouts for me, were Daniel Craig and Ana de Armas. Craig's accent was shaky at times, but it's so delightful to see him deliciously chew up every scene he's in. With any ensemble this big, there's gonna be some members underutilized and Lakeith Stanfield was unfortunately the one here.
One of my favourites this year. Loved those last few shots but I can just imagine some getting pissed off. Anyways, really entertaining and fun mystery.
