one of the funniest movies i've ever seen, i laughed at almost all the jokes. miss scarlet was my favorite, probably just because i always played her when i played the board game lmfao. my only complaint was the ending dragged a little more than i remembered.
This made me miss David Foster Wallace without ever having heard of him outside of the movie. Jason Segal gave one of the most believable performances I've ever seen; he made the movie feel real, like this was an actual recording of the real interview. Jesse Eisenberg did a great job of portraying an interviewer; quizzical, attentive, a half-therapist. One of the best, most moving movies I've seen while appearing to be casual and effortless.

even for its 2:30 runtime, it kept me on edge almost all the way through. maybe if i knew keller's character more, him keeping and torturing the suspected kidnapper would have made sense, but i could never see him this violent and almost heartless. it didn't make sense to me.
