Christian Bale and Dudley Dursley (cannot recall the actors name) do a decent job but the script could have been tighter and more captivating overall. An amazing cast and a mediocre story with some plot challenges results in a mediocre overall movie that could have been so much more.
Still, entertaining enough for a watch if you have nothing else to do and like the morbidity that surrounds the Poe-era.

Surprisingly good Batman character but way too long and I didn’t care about anyone in Gotham. Hardly any emotional connection and a good hero as well as a good villain somehow managed to only leave a slight „meh“ in my memory.

Is it just me or is the chance of a 15 year-old and a 25-year old becoming a couple far from romantic and outright creepy?
I guess you had to be there in the 70s to enjoy the innuendos and "everything is in walking distance in L.A." trope that made it very hard for me to take the film seriously.

I did not expect that good a movie. Basically I stumbled across this by accident. but obviously Guy Ritchie got his stuff together and remembered how to make an awesome movie.
Great dialogue, cool characters, and a twisted plot make this a really enjoyable action flick.
