The editing completely wrecks an already bad  movie.

    July Scavenger Hunt #21

watch a sci-fi film from before 1969 or a sci-fi film from any year but based on a short story or novel written before 1969:

I realize why this is considered a classic. Going into this I thought it was going to be all goofy, but some of it really holds up. It is still is a great picture and stays in the pop culture zeitgeist for a reason. It's an interesting idea that is also a whole lot of fun even if some of the elements aren't timeless some of the ideas here are timeless.

    Star Wars: The Last Jedi

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Some fleeting moments of greatness, but overall full of too much humor that was dreadfully unfunny. These moments, such as the opera singer and the porgs, felt forced and almost like the prequels. Why was there a tit milking scene? It just felt odd the whole time. Why do we need humor the whole film especially when it's this unfunny?

Kylo and Rey were particularly great in this film, but Finn and Rose were one of the most forced romances…

This movie feels like an endurance test. It took forever to end and only had a few genuine laughs. Poorly executed and mostly unfunny this is definitely one of the years worst.
