Fernando Pelaez Rovalo’s review published on Letterboxd:
After the surprise that was Get Out, I’m happy to see Jordan Peele succeed once more with Us, a smart horror movie that’s bound to become a true crowd pleaser. Without losing his voice or endangering his artistic vision, Peele created a movie with wonderful pace that keeps things alive and going while also raising interesting questions and managing to subvert expectations along the way. The best way to watch it is knowing as little as possible, because once you finally see what happens, you won’t help but wonder how something like this could come out of the mind of someone. If Get Out didn’t prove it at first, Us is here to reinforce Jordan Peele as one of the great storytellers of the last decade and a fresh voice among filmmakers.
