Andy Ferguson’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm not surprised they made a sequel to the smash hit reboot of 21 Jump Street, but I was very surprised to find that it manages to come out funnier than its predecessor. Yes, I know I am the 13,000th person to mention this, but it is worth repeating: 22 Jump Street succeeds by consistently being self-aware of its own virtually pointless existence. Some say it overdoes it with the constant jabs at its blatant carbon-copy "mission" it sends Schmidt and Jenko on again, but I thought it worked far more often than not in the laughs department.
Call me an idiot if you want, but I had a blast watching this movie.
