For some reason, when you click on the link to the trailer on this film's page, it links to a full version of the movie on Youtube. I am not one to condone piracy, but since I have never gotten a report from Troma on how my movie is doing financially, and taking into account that if you buy the blu-ray released by Troma the subtitles will be several seconds out of synch, what can I say if you decide to watch a properly subtitled HD pirated copy on Youtube?
As Scorsese has compared superhero films to theme park rides, this film pretentiously tries to escape that label by presenting itself as prestigious cinema.
It straight-up appropriates Scorsese's cultural legacy, as it blatantly steals from Taxi Driver and King of Comedy, as well as Sidney Lumet's Network. It appropriates the themes of the aforementioned films on a surface level, yet it has nothing of its own to say.
