Ahsoka 2023
Arguably the best time to be a Star Wars fan since 1980. The show DELIVERS. Episodes 4-6 in particular is quite a stretch, and it has a great blend of satisfying while also leaving you wanting more. Ahsoka has truly become one of the greatest characters in the franchise and this is a key step for her journey. Please give us a second season before the wrap up movie

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2023
Forgot to review this one too, but solid all around. Best parts were easily the turtles interacting with each other and cracking jokes. On the story side, I kinda think it was a little dull. Animation was super cool and the movie does a good job of trying to explain the turtle lure for someone who knows absolutely nothing

Downhill 2020
I’m maybe the biggest supporter of these two writers, so I was seeing this regardless of not knowing the original, but damn I’m left so emotionless about this movie. Never have I seen something so horribly tonally inconsistent, and on top of that, the movie felt incomplete, yet still bored me. That being said, Louis-Dreyfus was great, and there’s one scene in here that was utterly spectacular. But that potential isn’t used anywhere else sadly. Some nice shots and ideas but overall not something I’m going to remember, and that’s really disappointing.

The Invisible Man 2020
VERY MINOR SPOILERS:
There’s a scene where the invisible man hits a character and blames Elisabeth Moss for doing it, and she didn’t say “I did not hit her. It’s not true. It’s bullshit. I did not hit her. I did not. Oh hi James.” Had she said this, then I would’ve gone with 5 stars.
