sometimes i sit and think, and sometimes i just sit.
ultimate intentionality. every minute is used with care. it reminded me of this poem at times. other times, the weight on her shoulders would slip off onto mine. the intimacy created with silence allows for a unique depth of empathy.
the ending is perfect. it is the only right answer when considered metaphorically, and is the most cathartic answer when considered realistically.
i was there with her at the table at the end, a companion and silent witness.
