Deauville #3 – Introduced by producer Nicolas Gonda
ok so i read a lot about it afterwards, especially the negative reviews.
and i mean i agree, who cares about the existential crisis of an egotistical womanizer writer after he's offered the biggest opportunity of his career ?
but man, the poetry, the photography, the flawless succession of sequences, the metaphors, the magnificent women, kinglsey's narration... i was mesmerized. maybe it's because it was my first malick, but man.
and i can't not mention all those cameos...as useless as a cameo can be, i can't but feel some excitement when offerman, kroll, lo truglio, appear on screen
