careful what you wish for.
Thelma is a quiet but tense movie, that keeps you on hook thanks to its style and careful writing. trier goes quite far with some – amongst others – religious themes and metaphors and, even if it doesn't always work, it's often quite stunning. the two girls are awesome (we need more girls kissing in movies), especially eilie harboe who delivers one hell of a mf ending – that look !
ps. any movie that slips in some opera moment has my heart.
