feel like this might be one of those situations where ive seen so so much stuff inspired by and derivative of heathers that the original kinda loses some of its impact on me as a whole, but there still are a number of jokes that are truly undeniable. i love my dead gay son being chief among them

great to see dan trachtenberg's name in the credits again. 10 cloverfield lane was one of the coolest surprises of the last decade and really felt like the springboard for bigger things and seemingly all he did between that and this in six years was like a black mirror episode and the pilot to the boys. wild.
