Filipe Furtado’s review published on Letterboxd:
Those two eternal objects of film fetish girls and guns rarely being put to such good use. A genre film that remains great at generating thrills but mostly leaves basic narrative common sense (as well as things like believeble character behavior) behind for a near abstract examination of the dual images of women in peril/women of action in what they usually mean to male gaze. There's as much phallic gun imagery as 100 minute film with a plot can have. Ron Silver deranged performance as beyond his time Patrick Bateman is a thing of beauty with you are into that kind of overacting and there's lots of solid character acting on the margins as well.
