Filipe Furtado’s review published on Letterboxd:
I must confess this doesn't do much for me. Weird compromisd between a Minnelli and a Kelly project in a way their previous partnerships were not. The main village is a very Minnelian concept, but something about the stagey stylization feels off, the dreamer here remains a grounded concept around the pastoral framework instead of taking a life of its own. A musical about a fantasy ideal instead of a fantastical one.
