An interesting documentary that showcases the history of Formula 1 that is engaging yet inconsistent and lacks some authenticity.
1 begins with you thinking that this documentary is about safety alone. After the introduction, it then proceeds to start talking about the early years of Formula 1 and it’s heroes of the track.
As a huge Formula 1 and auto racing fan, I thougoughly enjoyed this but it was a fairly inconsistent documentary on its own. Although interesting, there was no reason to give a race by race point breakdown of the 1976 season. Is this supposed to be about safety or not!?
Some of the authenticity was also lost when I heard sounds of the naturally aspirated V8 engines played while showing cars using the V10s which is just lazy and makes me thing the creators aren’t as informed on the sport as one would think.
