as usual with sam hyde, nuggets of genuine hilarity and subversive insight ruined by self-conscious mannerisms. “good luck searching for al-quaeda on the internet in 2070, youd have better luck going next door and asking them in person.”
sam hyde is a funny guy. i’d even say hes very funny. and he can be intelligent—perhaps in a manner, however, thats too hand-waivey to make any real impact (by which i mean hes in your face to a fault, dilluting his sartrean message). but hes also controlled by a death drive.
this is basically unwatchable. so is all his stuff. just being honest. (except some of his standup, a small tiny wee percentage.)
