I know absolutely nothing about the man known as Toon Bodyslam aside from the fact he seems like a pretty swell dude and completing the feat documented in this film is undeniably admirable.
2,215 follows a Thai rockstar running the span of his country to raise money for hospitals desperately in need of them. This journey includes 14 hour running days, stress and exhaustion but the end goal keeps Toon driven throughout.
Sometimes a little over-produced, with an almost reality-tv-esque feel to some of the latter half of the film; 2,215 is popcorn entertainment that made me feel good and in a world where the news is seemingly consistently bad it's nice to see a story this positive even if the slant is a little poppy.
