Literally so many things I just LOVE in this movie; only women, musical numbers, gay subtext & text, how campy and theatrical and colorful and funny this is.... really the kind of movie I can't wait to rewatch again some day when I'm feeling down.
This is the first Isabelle Huppert role I've seen of her (yeah I know...), and she was incredibly good and very funny. All the actresses are great tbh (which is obvious with such a god-tier cast).
The story goes in a lot of places and didn't always make sense, but this really adds to the atmosphere of the movie. It's just plain ridiculous and that's what makes it so good.
