Didn't quite mind this as much as I wanted to hate it!
Its what a Veere Di Wedding or a Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga set out to do, but shy-ed away probably because production logistics plus log kya kahenge?
90ml is illogical, crass and unaesthetic to anyone with a brain; but it's also equally non-judgemental, unapologetic and empowering to anyone with a mind in the right place. It's ironical that the visuals valorize the male gaze with unnecessary oomph-ness while playing to stereotypes - which also acknowledges that its a man's world after all.
It covers a plethora of taboo topics in mainstream Tamil Cinema by a female writer/director and is therefore worthy of applause but abysmally failing the Alison-Bechdel Test was a missed opportunity, ladies!
