Decent short doc about a castle built on another castle and the restoration thereof but nothing particularly noteworthy.

Even in this highly procedural, industrial style documentary by Dreyer there is a powerful sense that beneath the visible, the material, and the contemporary is something deeper, more transcendent, and ancient. Themes central to Dreyer's greater cinematic works can't help but present themselves in what is indisputably cinematically unremarkable in other capacities. What is interesting about this work is observing a director's preoccupations remain present in something much more conventional and less prestigious than the canon of his major works.

The last Dreyer film I'll see for the first time. Glad to now say I've seen all his films.

Average doc, but interesting nonetheless

Cortometraggio documentaristico che mostra come il Castello di Krogen, costruito nel 1420, sia nascosto all'interno del Castello di Kronborg; la ricostruzione realizzata da Dreyer, attraverso dei piacevoli effetti visivi, consente di poterne studiare la struttura interna e capire ancor meglio come si presentava la prima fortezza.
