Ketika adek ipar minta nonton bareng2 , aku lgsg mikir "film thailand kan ngomongnya lucu", sekedar pengen ketawa aja, tenyata film nya bikin nangis...huhuhu
Gmna gk nangis ,perjuangan seorang gadis muka pas2an naksir cowok keren, bayangin gmna jatuh bangun nya dia.
Lupakan seragam sexi ala thailand, di film ini seragam nya natural alias kedodoran, itu yg bikin aku suka...
Mines film ini cuma 1 , kissing...
Yup, untuk film romance ,kissing nya barang se iprit pun gak ada.
Everything about this film is just so wrong. The depiction of beauty presented is equal to a cardboard stereotype of love. Boring and ridiculously over-the-top, this film is unfunny and offensive.
A Little Thing Called Love is a problematic, predictable romantic comedy that Mario Maurer fans mindlessly devoured. The most good looking guy in the campus is eventually revealed to have been always in love with this ugly girl even before her transformation to this light-skinned beauty is one big bullshit. I may be speaking as a jaded viewer but that's way unrealistic. Granted, our budding leading lady did a mature thing when he dumped the guy's best friend cause she ain't feeling anything real for him, but I'm numb at that point. Next.
The Thais know something about longing. They capture it well on film. The mad surging, the illusion of nobility in denial, the perfect — if short-lived — happiness of catching a glance, a smile, or a touch from the beloved. Which is to say I have finally managed to catch Puttipong Pormsaka Na-Sakonnakorn and Wasin Pokpong’s สิ่งเล็กเล็ก ที่เรียกว่า..รัก [A Little Thing Called Love, 2010] … egged on by the sheer popularity of the film among girls (and women) around me who are normally of the even-keeled sort but have been reduced to hysterics by the Tagalog-dubbed version of this film which aired in a network TV station a few months back.
Watching it, I understand the passion of the fans.…
This is a coming of age flick about a schoolgirl’s “first love”. Apparently this was a very popular film in China back then and many Chinese fans stan the main 2 characters till now.
Initially the movie made me uncomfortable — firstly because fair skin is associated with beauty. The main character undergoes the typical transformation you see in chick flicks: short hair becomes long, black hair becomes brown, irises become brown... and tan skin becomes fair. And it’s about how a crush becomes a motivating factor for a girl to improve on herself — change her appearance, get good grades — before he takes notice of her.
So I didn’t approve of the apparent message of the movie, that…
I nntn ini gr" crush I nyuruh...
Parah konyol banget, dari ceritanya sampe detail" komedinya receh abis.
Jadi keinget you are the apple of my eye.
"Absolutely one of my favorite
romance movie ever!."
When my friend introduced this movie to me, I was a little hesitant about the suggestion. This movie has a simple storyline. It describe first love and its cheesy things. Although the story is simple, But don't worry because the transformation of Nam may not be boring and can be a refresher during this film.

Crazy Little Called Love (2010) is a Thailand romantic comedy starring Fern Pimchanok Leuvisedpaibul (as Nam) and Mario Maurer (as Shone). Nam is a high school girl who is secretly in love with her senior, Shone. Shone is a charming 10th-grade-student who interested in photography and football. Aware as not-a-dazzling-girl in the school, Nam, with the…
god i miss thailand. this movie is extremely nostalgic but also problematic now that i’m older. yh yh the representation of beauty is bad, but u cannot tell me it’s any different now. asians are brainwashed into thinking light skin = pretty and who’s fault is it rlly?? a lot of films/tv shows made in the yr 2000s were pretty bad tbh ahem friends ahem chandler
anyways i miss thailand
if anyone asks me what’s my childhood, i will show them this movie
and if they ask me who’s my childhood crush, i will show them baifern and mario
when i watched this as a kid who was very tanned and wore glasses, i believed that in high school i would find love with a guy like mario and look better. i mean i don’t look as ugly as i was but i’m still single i’m gonna to cry now bye-
Funny looking back at this 11 years after. I am on my twenties now and I liked it less because there is no challenge in here that actually feels like a challenge. It only reinforces the same standards it claims to examine thoroughly.
1. Crazy Little Thing Called Love 2010 Sejuta umat bakal setuju ini film romance paling paling sedih Fix. Sebenernya filmnya banyak scene komedi, kalian diawal ketawa tawa tp pas Nam gede, ditambah mo ending nyesek bgt udh isinya sepanjang mo ending nangis terus. Pernah denger kabar kalo CLTCL 2 tayang tp cuma di thailand aja dan ceritanya Nam dan Shone udh nikah tapi kapal mereka kena pasang dan Mereka terdampar dan hilang ingatan, pas ketemu Nam ama Shone udh punya keluarga masing” tapi nanti bakal keinget lagi, durasinya juga pendek. cmiiw yaa
so you're saying that one of the most famous films from my country is about the reinforcement of beauty standards? (i mean the message would be way better if they actually cast a lead actor that doesn't conform to beauty standards instead of painting her face black in the beginning.)
The moral value of this movie is If you like someone, tell him right away. Some times love can make a better you if you use it in a good way.
this is probably my third time watching it (but i don’t really remember the first time) honestly don’t go watching this thinking it’ll be a cinematic masterpiece, that’s not what the directors intended for it to be. it’s not supposed to be perfect but people enjoy because of how simple and relatable the story is. honestly, it’s just one of those movies that portray first love in a really cute way and i just love it for no reason. since i’m thai, the cultural aspects make sense to me but i understand how it might not make sense for those who aren’t familiar with thai culture (especially in schools). i think the whole movie is something we can all relate to regarding crushes in middle/high school :) overall, i think it’s a good movie to watch casually and with a grain of salt!
