Second time I see this film in a festival, and I still love it the same. It portrays beautifully, with humour, and in a short time the sad reality of Limassol today, the duality of the city and the classes: on one hand, the 'dream' life, the always-summer luxury lifestyle of rich expats (mainly Russian), and on the other the difficult life of most immigrants as well as locals, the 'shadow' people, who are there only to serve the rich. The protagonist makes a point about her life as a food stylist, that she has to portray the food in a way that makes it appealing, no matter how shitty it really is, and I think in the film she realises this is true also of the city: the window may show a summer play, a wild lifestyle of party and good food, but in reality, not many people get to live like this.
