"Channing Tatum doesn't get cold in this shit!"
I really wanted to like this more than I did. The reviews for the most part were good and Hart was now able to unleash himself because of the R-rating. However, the film falters because it's trapped in the generic, clichéd tropes that stop many similar rom-coms from being nothing but average.
The standouts here are easily Kevin Hart and Regina Hall. Hart is funny as usual, and surprisingly downplays his usual shtick, leading to a better performance. Hall, who plays Hart's girlfriend, is hilarious and has great chemistry with Hart. The two of them save the movie. Without them, this movie would have been a complete bore.
