don’t know what drugs the writer of this was on but hook me up
- georgie henley is baby
- heath (and his earring) is baby
- my link to this paused every two minutes
- someone told me this was a musical. it’s not
- whatever
Look, I would never want to attend a music festival IRL, so I wasn't gonna have much fun watching a movie about one. I would love to steal a motorbike with Georgie Henley and run off on it with her, though, so I guess I got that out of it. Speaking of Georgie, she was (like with all her post-Narnia stuff thus far) definitely the best part of the film. She's great at the dramatic stuff, but I would really love to see her in more comedic roles.
Rating vice, though, this one is a toughie. Access All Areas is definitely better paced than The Sisterhood of Night, and it's better at establishing character personalties and relationships (though... that really…
Film #17 at EIFf
Not much else to say other than this is trashy, teen cannon fodder. Weak performance, horrendous story, unlikable characters and some 'edgy' cinematography. It's a borefest, which I'm super disappointed in. It just screams "you've seen this 10000 times before"
put this on for a quick watch before bed, ended up feeling like 3 hours. a star for ella purnell
not as bad as i remember it being. georgie’s character is super fun and enjoyable! the music is great. it just feels a bit… slow. it’s only an hour and a half long but it feels like three hours.
A film that feels like a collection of scenes rather than a compelling narrative. There is little to no character development or a traditional ‘dramatic narrative arc’ which is a shame because the performances from the young cast are decent and it looks nice enough. Disappointing.
any film with a member of rizzle kicks is kind of a yes from me
(i like the soundtrack and some of the cinematography was niceeee but the storyline got a bit wTF xx)
This could have had such a nice quirky vibe but it was badly written and delivered – the characters almost seemed to fall into the uncanny valley.
