After 15 years, Ashley finally has the opportunity to get closer to her son, as a result of her relationship with her friend Suzana.
This was a sweet story of reconnection between a trans woman and her son whom she hasn't seen in so long. An often overlooked reality that happens to many trans folks when they begin to live authentically as themselves.
Adam, Eve, and the Forbidden Fruit will be screened at the 2nd Academy of Death Racers Film Festival from the 6th - 22nd of January 2023. Get your virtual passes now by visiting our website.

Director R. B. Lima: “The short film portrays the encounter between a trans woman and her teenage son, separated after birth. In this new daily life, she faces her fears, while trying to understand her son and her role of being a mother. It isn’t easy for the young man either, who seeks the meaning of his own existence in an unknown person. Thus, brief moments contribute to the maturing of their relationship, tracing a path of discoveries and breaking down prejudices.”
