I loved this movie when it came out originally but at the time I was a teenager. My tastes have changed.

Last year, I made the mistake of watching this right after the fucking awesome original Alien and that was a big mistake. I couldn’t make it past an hour. Fast forward to a year later and I try watching it again after hearing so much praise. I really wanted to feel that thrill when I was young and in…

Nearly perfect but they made the mistake of not giving Vasquez a bigger role.

My all time favorite sci fi action movie. Tense and exciting with great acting. Big fan of Micheal Bien and Sigourney Weaver.

"Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?"

    "No. Have you?"

Beautiful. Cameron firing on all cylinders, and keeping the tension of the first one, but with adding his own hand-crafted fiery action flare.

Jim and Sigourney reuniting (again) next year is something that makes me very, very happy.

Caught about like 80% of this on TV today. God Cameron.

It's a strange turn in style, where action tropes are pushed to the extreme, exaggerating the military types into one-liners and adrenaline junkies. Honestly, it's a strange turn and removes any kind of horror element that the original succeeded so well with, providing audiences instead with iconic one-liners,…

Watched a 35th anniversary screening of this with my Mum.Β The last time she saw the film on the big screen I was in her stomach, trying to fight my way out like a facehugger. Fitting that we could enjoy one of our favourites together all these years later.
