8 more anime came out: The Disappearance Of Nagato Yuki-Chan, Blue Drop, Devil May Cry, Strawberry Panic, Chobits, Deadman Wonderland, Brother,Dear Brother, and Ga-Rei-Zero.
This was mostly really average until the mystery was explained, then it was kind of poor and waiting for the reveal to be told but episodes 11 and 12, especially 11, was absolutely horrendous. I don't remember watching an episode as painful as that one.
There's really nothing good about the show besides maybe the mood set up by the eerie score earlier on. The dialogue is kind of bad, characters are really bad and barely one dimensional, the plot is ridiculous, I don't remember a more contrived anime or even show I've seen. The amount of times we are about to get crucial information and someone or something conveniently interrupts was ridiculous.
Another is literally just another anime that does nothing to stand out and has bottom of the barrel writing. If you want a good laugh I suppose I'd recommend you watch episode 11, words can't do it justice in terms of how laughably bad it is.
Up until episode 11 its pretty alright, the plot/story was interesting and it had me hooked. HOWEVER, episodes 11 & 12 were horrendous. Everything just went to shit for no reason? None of it made any sense at all i was so confused on what the fuck was going on and like WHY it was going on? I wasn’t expecting some crazy ending with a huge ass twist or anything, however, that ending.....GOD. They just kinda said fuck you to the last episode i guess? Whatever the plot twist or big reveal was suppose to be didn’t really even shock me, i was just kinda like, okay. Why. It didn’t make sense. If it weren’t for me enjoying the first 10 episodes or so i would hate this.
I was also waiting to find out what the deal was with the dolls. Turns out they are just THERE and serve no purpose in the plot.

Another somehow manages to be nearly every sub-genre of horror in only twelve episodes, and yet it all makes sense within its own context. The mystery is strong, the gore and unexpected deaths keep you on your toes, and it gets so insane by the end that I couldn't help but love it.
While Another does seem to follow a formula at first, when you finally get used to it, it dramatically changes up that formula and finishes up somewhere very different to where it started. I liked the direction that it goes in but I can see other people feeling cheated out of an ending with more finesse or depth.
But not me! Sorry but I'm a bad girl and I love all this cruel mean-spirited gore stuff!!
This was such a good spooky series!! In only 12 episodes, Another leaves you guessing and dying to know whats going to happen. Beautiful animation styles with detailed backgrounds and fluid motions! Lots of blood and gore so if youre not into that, maybe dont watch it.
Another is the worst anime I have ever finished.
Problem number one: It’s not scary. I guess people find blood to be spooky because that is all this show has in terms of horror. I know horror is subjective, but if this is what normal horror is then I fucking hate horror. There’s only one scene I can call scary. But it’s a nightmare and it’s painfully obvious from the beginning it’s a nightmare.
Problem number two: Just like another show from the same director/writer, I hate everyone. Not one character is the voice of reason. Not one character had anything interesting about them. They weren’t even hot and/or cute! There's one shot in a beach episode (just realized, why…

this is so fucking bad it’s actually laughable. it’s bad for so many reasons :
1) the whole curse doesn't make any type of sense. like wtf. one student is actually dead, so we have to ignore another student to « please » the dead one ? what ???
2) there is absolutely no logic at all in any of the actions of the characters. why wouldn’t all the students tell the main guy that he should ignore Misaki ? for christ’s sake, why wouldn’t Misaki kill the one that she KNOWS is the dead one ?? why do they even open this damned class if they know students are going to die each year ? it…

People like to shit on this for mixing horror genres and having a predictable ending, but it was one of the first horror animes I remember watching and really enjoying. The last third is a bit stupid but the exposition is fantastic and the death scenes are iconic.
Idk , someone said me it was very sad , but I thought it was more trash than sad, kinda disappointed
This anime series is basically "Final Destination". It had some mild twists & turns that weren't too crazy, but I still enjoyed watching it.
