The most insulting adaptation since The Last Airbender. An absolutely worthless piece of dogshit that sucks every compelling element out of an incredible book series and deforms it into an unrecognizable pulp. Every character is uninteresting, every directorial choice is incomprehensible, every scene is indescribably awful in its own unique way. Avoid this movie at all costs, especially if you have even the slightest attachment to the original source material.
good movie for getting high with your friends and exchanging bewildered looks over facetime
bad movie for hmmmm ... everything else i’d say. was initially worried colin farrell wouldn’t be in it that much but wound up relieved he wasn’t in it more. if i had watched this as a kid the josh gad unhinged jaw scenes (multiple) would’ve absolutely come up in therapy years later.
ultimately, this is a wrinkle in time for boys: incomprehensible disney action-sci-fi about a kid saving their hot dad. equality is when boys get to suffer too <3

It was so much fun, everyone involved seemed to have a great time and the emotional payoff was fantastic. Initially I was a little trepidacious, I was unfamiliar with this territory and I was worried I wouldn't get invested. But after a while everything was comfortable and light and fun, going to new places I've never been before. Honestly I think more people need to experience it!
The film on the other hand was boring. I only watched the first 15 minutes before my partner surprised me with a threesome for my birthday, what a great time!
i literally have no idea what happened in this and a good portion of its 90 minutes is josh gad with some sort of rat stuck in his throat explicitly explaining to the camera what was happening.
Okay I'm just going to say Artemis does NOT look cool with with the sunglasses. This garbage of a movie is soooo annoying 😤. I'm soooo mad at this movie. Compare to this crap The last Airbender is a masterpiece. This is NOT only the worst movie of the year but the worst movie ever.
Colin Farrell being in this and therefore making me watch it is an act of terrorism against me.
It's straight up horrific how Hollywood is wasting that man. I think it is time for him to make another sex tape, at least that's a good use of everyone's time and energy.
