INFINITY WAR: unwatchable space trash. one of the worst movies in the MCU.
ENDGAME: a genuinely touching (and cleverly self-reflexive) mega-spectacle about how it feels to fail the people you love. one of the best movies in the MCU.

an adrenaline rush and exactly as gaudy as you might think, but also completely unique tonally in its approach. this feels like a special moment in film history at the very tippy top of the cinematic universe era that can’t possibly last for as long as people expect. in the scope of things, film is still in its infancy as an art form, and to see a spectacle like this that has so many moving parts is kind of remarkable, even if it’s not totally my thing. for better or worse, we’re living through one of the most exciting times in history to mass consume and bond over art, and that really is... something
obviously not spoiling anything, but-
• this movie is three goddamn hours! this would have never happened when obama was president!!
* and it FEELS like three hours! i was legitimately SWEATY at the end of this movie!
* and there isn’t even a goddamn post credits scene??? what in the!!!
* explicitly! gay! character!!!!!
* feel like this movie could’ve been a tight 60 minutes if they cut half of the one-liners and all of the scenes where someone reveals themselves by leaning in a doorway
* alan silvestri should’ve gotten a writing/directing credit
* unfortunately, disney did not equip theatres with extra staff to clean up the nerd cum that will be floating around your floors post-film, so…

Not 5 stars? What kind of monster am I?
Well let me first give some praise before I get to what knocked the score down.
The action, acting and plot were all simply AMAZING. I was enjoying pretty much every moment
It was also heartbreaking in a certain area which I shall not spoil
Sooo...why 4 3/4 and not 5?
Well...some of the loose ends kinda bug me
The fact that two major characters aren't in the future MCU slightly bums me out...
I just honestly don't know what Marvel and/or Disney could do to follow up this film...which also worries me
A fantastic film...but now the MCU is kinda in shambles I.m.o
I preferred watching it without all those fuckers screaming and cheering around me.
22 movies have been lending up to this and it dose not disappoint at all. Each character has there moments to shine. The cast are absolutely amazing and put in some of the best performances in the hole mcu. A specially robbert Downey jr who just brings his a game here. Thanos is still a great villain like he was in infinity war. The action scenes are top notch a specially the final battle. The film also has some really good character moments. The film made me what to cry at the end. If you have seen the film your know what scenes am talking about. It was also film brilliantly and had a great music score.
I watched this movie far too many times in the cinema than I usually would for a movie. Its a good conclusion except for Cap's ending. Did he really deserve that?
