Batman: La broma mortal, 蝙蝠俠: 致命玩笑
It's unfortunate and honestly shocking how the addition of a 30 minute prologue focusing on Barbara Gordon detracts from the film and makes the story's treatment of her character even more problematic.

Alan Moore's The Killing Joke, released in 1988, was an influential comic at the time, but even its creator soon lambasted its violent, excessive attempt at diving into the crazed minds of heroes and villains. To quote Moore, "I don’t think that the world needs that many brooding psychopathic avengers". It's an ideal which DC abruptly ignores, trampling over the vibrant, kooky stories of Batman's golden age (Dick Sprang bringing color to full lucidity) in favor of Snyder's oppressive (although not without merit) vision. But The Killing Joke still had its attributes, mainly in Brian Holland's pristine illustrations and the demented final moment between Batman and the clown prince of crime. But in Batman: The Killing Joke, the 26th…
Two words: Bat sex.
Two more words: BAD movie.
The Killing Joke is a controversial adaptation of Alan Moore's controversial graphic novel, but unlike the legendary comic it's based on, the film ends up being controversial for all the wrong reasons.
DC, you had one job and one heck of a source material—a story widely regarded as one of the greatest, not just in Batman lore, but in comic book history.
All you had to do was animate the thing, but no, you had to make it all about Batgirl instead of the "two guys in a lunatic asylum" and tack on a needless romantic subplot that no one wants to see, ultimately disrespecting the…
I don't really read a lot of comic books outside of Deadpool, and I've seen next to none of the countless animated Batman movies that are out there, so maybe this doesn't make me the most qualified person to critique this film. But, I could easily tell what parts were added on by the writers and director, and what parts were actually taken from the source material; and when I can tell that so easily, that's really a bad sign. It's not just because I heard that they added a whole prologue about Barbara Gordon and her relationship with Batman. It was the fact that the parts that I knew came directly from the book were so fantastic that I…
never thought that a 72 minute long movie centered around one of the most disturbing and provocative comic books ever written could be made boring af but somehow these guys did it
I cannot emphasize how loud my bark of amazed laughter was when batman said, outraged, "no, he's objectified you!" to batgirl as though he and THE ENTIRE MOVIE did not do EXACTLY THE SAME FUCKING THING like boys ......... you cannot just appropriate feminist terminology while simultaneously aggressively promoting the very reason it is necessary. though I guess it was truly incredible to appreciate that all the men involved in making this had only one (1) brain cell that they popped out and shared between them like dollar store Fates
Who the hell thought the stuff with Barbara was a good idea?
You guys literally had everything you needed to do this right and some weirdo perve got a hold of it
I’m not that familiar with the animated universe of Batman but I thought this was awesome.
Though that whole relationship with Batgirl thing was ssssoooo weird. I’m not that familiar with the comics or animated series so I’m not sure if that was added or source material but I was creeped out by that.
But the second half/meat of the movie made up for that. Mark Hamill was as good as advertised voicing Joker, same with Kevin Conroy as Batman, and their showdown in the second half was good enough to let me forget whatever the heck was going on in the first half.
The score was awesome and there were cool shots of Gotham. To me, Batman looked a…
Maybe the most famous Batman and Joker story is now overshadowed by Bruce nailing Babs on a roof and her acting like a needy teenager. Good job guys.
Bruh this was so fucking bad lol. The only parts I liked about it were the flashaback scenes where the Joker became the Joker. To be honest Mark Hamil was the only good actor here, everyone else was at their low. This movie at time was so cringe and a lot of the dialogue was so bad and at times it didn’t even feel like a dark movie like it tried to be, it just felt like a more adult episode of one of the animated shows. Fucking Batman and Batgirl have fucking sex out of nowhere and for no reason like what the fuck. Also the ending is a bruh moment literally the ending made no sense and was garbage. So that’s about it lol.
DC has long treated Alan Moore’s works like the ubiquitous Eric Andre Show meme, shooting themselves in the foot and blaming it on the darkness he ostensibly brought to the medium. That ongoing legacy, particularly the incessant mythologizing of the Batman/Joker relationship ever since, sours watching this animated adaptation, despite the expected strong work from Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill. What really kills the fun here though is the tacked-on prologue, an embarrassingly unsuccessful effort to adjust the problematic treatment of Batgirl. That’s an original contribution; there’s no one else to blame.
This one catches unnecessary hate. They needed to make a story that takes 20 minutes to read fill a full-length time slot. I understand that people were upset about the creative liberties taken with the story, but let’s be realistic here; do you really think Batman HASN’T fucked Batgirl? Bruce Wayne can (and usually does) have any woman he wants. Why WOULDN’T he want that fiery redhead? Just because you want to believe Bruce hasn’t laid the pipe to Babs, doesn’t mean he hasn’t.
if the whole movie was a short of the last 30 minutes it'd be pretty good! too bad you gotta get through like 50 minutes of uninspired boring misogynist gross shit first. and some really weird bat sex.
The ending is exactly the same as in "Mask Of The Phantasm", the Joker makes a joke and Batman laughs with the Joker
An iconic comic brought to the big screen. Not amazing, but I did enjoy seeing it in theaters with my friend.
The classic comic is brought to life. A little less shocking than the comic mostly due to extra scenes not found in the original material.
isso aqui foi traumatizante demais pra mim meu deus só que o joker como sempre impecável
The Killing Joke is one of my favorite comic book story arcs. But it doesn’t really work as an animated movie. I still love what it’s trying to bring and it surely does bring plenty of innovation.
