Watching this just ahead of the 2020 campaign exploding seems legit.
There are several things explored here, and it is a topical thing that could benefit from the current era of a streaming service making a series out of a film (like say Wild Wild Country or Conversations with a Killer). When does an informant go from being a useful tool to being the spearhead perpetrating, what constitutes a lawful protest and separates it from an unlawful one. We should not confuse my positions: I'm a big government guy. But, not a big brother guy. There's a line to be drawn, a fine distinction perhaps, but a line nonetheless and one that should be made. A solid doc worth the watch, one that is still topical no less, and worth thinking and discussing at length about after said viewing(s).
