Love the audacity of this film. It's quite the raucous, strobe-lit, multi-colored bloody ride. Between this film and VFW (also a 2019 premiere), Joe Begos is keeping the exploitation flag flying high. I can see Gaspar Noe influence but with a very LA vibe.
Shot on 16mm by Mike Testin with very interesting color-timing that seems to avoid heavy contrasts. They also avoid cleaning up dust and dirt.
Dora Madison isn't afraid of shedding her cleaner TV persona with a caustic performance that requires nudity and insane sex scenes, etc.
