LeVar Burton directs, Christopher Plummers has a supporting role as Santa Claus, there are taling reindeers, a Christmas court, a girl who has a dream, a loving family. Couldn't get any more Christmas than this! Maybe if I had seen this at the right moment it would have had a bigger impact.

Great balls of tinsel!
There are holiday movies... and then there are CHRISTMAS movies 😭. This story of a friendship between a girl and a special reindeer may have aged early 2k CGI, but in a certain way I think that may be for the better. After all it is a story with magic and fantasy, so the kind of ultra realistic CGI that could be done now may not fit better. There's an old timey vibe to the film's look that feels like the classic Christmas tales.
Blizzard may only have 400 views, but I'm calling it essential holiday viewing. Going straight up onto my Holiday favs list. Consider checking it out!

Rendben, nem kerülgetem a forró kását, ez egy egyszernézős karácsonyi tv2 film. Ha valaki arra vetemedne, hogy megnézi, fontos, CSAK MAGYAR SZINKRONNAL NÉZHETŐ!!! Annyira cringe lesz tőle, hogy már élvezhető. A főhős neve Stella, amit nem úgy mondanak a filmben, hogy Sztella, hanem úgy, hogy Stella. REMEK MAGYAR SZINKRON. Többet nem tudok hozzátenni, egy tipikus karácsonyi film, semmi több.

This was such a festive comfort watch as a kid. I have a true yearning for those banana skates.

maybe if I had watched this when I was a child I would have liked it more, or I'd have some nostalgia for the sappiness, but mostly I'm amazed that this movie was able to cast Christopher Plummer as Santa Claus and have him say incredible lines like "great balls of tinsel, you can be annoying sometimes".
My youngest niece loved it though.
Things that didn't make any sense:
º The head elf's "Spanish" accent
º Why Archimedes and Aphrodite hated Blizzard so much
º Why the little brothers were such assholes -
THIS IS THE MOST UNDERRATED CHRISTMAS MOVIE AND I DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF IT'S BAD.
