  Lots that I love about this but there’s a small joke in here where Amy is crying and tripping on drugs and she goes “my mom has a scarf that color” and it was so relatable I almost cried myself.

  wonderful film but they had the choices to go to a BOAT party with JARED and a MASSEUSE where they’re giving out FREE IPADS, and the choice to go to a MURDER MYSTERY party where they get to ACT as COOL MISCELLANIOUS CHARACTERS with BACKSTORIES with music in the background that sounds straight out of THE GREAT GATSBY, and instead they desperately wanted to go to a plain old HOUSE PARTY with people that SHIT TALK THEM in school BATHROOMS. you have nothing to prove to anyone!! secure that gift bag, kiss jared and then go be an innocent farm girl new to the big city stumbling upon a cold blooded murder!!

  Had a fantastic time at the cinema seeing this truly hilarious debut by Olivia Wilde. I laughed so hard during the pizza delivery scene that I snorted and then hid my head in my partner's shoulder because I was so embarrassed. The comedic performances are wonderful across the board and Wilde's set pieces are tight and sometimes stylistically poetic (pool scene). Sometimes the comedy gets a bit broad or situations fall in to the fantasy realm (almost everyone gets in to an ivy league) but who cares... truly entertaining and fresh.

  doesn’t need to be compared to anything else because it feels so fresh, like lightning in a bottle. i sometimes forget how good it feels to laugh until after a movie like this, it was even better a second time. and the visual flair and killer soundtrack is sticking with me, the underwater pool scene is definitely one of the most gratifying scenes of the year. i’m so happy this is the real deal
