  I'll probably see a lot of great movies for the next few days, but I highly doubt anything will be as good as Broker. Twenty minutes into the movie and I already knew this was going to be a masterpiece. It's probably Kore-eda's most plot-driven film, but it still *feels* like classic Kore-eda. Brilliant screenplay and such an emotional plot. It's just right up my alley.

  There is a sequence that takes place in a Ferris wheel partway through the film and I guarantee that scene is going to make entire theaters cry when it comes out. I was shedding tears in that scene and I swear half the theater was as well. IU steals the show. I haven't seen…

  The cyclical nature of broken systems and the broken people within them, but the ultimate reminder that our kin isn’t always determined by blood. Poignant and tender, exactly what you expect from Kore-eda.
