  As far as I'm concerned this is the only Puurr-fect superhero movie. Destine for cult status by the end of this decade.

  People often dismiss this as a bad movie but it is exactly how a superhero movie should be made. This thing is infinitely more watchable than Batman Vs Superman. This is pure art.

  - Origin story explained in the opening credits. Great always do that.

  - Director "Pitof" read the first paragraph of the Wikipedia went "Cat. Woman. Got it" and went to work. That's how it should be done.

  A woman dies and gets reborn with all the powers of a cat: She’s very agile, always lands on her feet, is the world’s greatest basketball player, gets off on stealing jewelry, makes terrible basketball puns, and loves leather and whips. Just like a real cat.

  Complete dissociation from the moment it starts, I entered into an otherworldly state of astral projection wherein my soul left my still-quivering body and sunk into the nearest cat or cat-like being, which in this case was a stuffed animal I still carried around with me sitting upright on the shelf not twelve-feet behind my earthly form. It is while in this meditative state (or hell-like prison, both are applicable) that I then remained for the next two hours watching the film while watching me watch the film while trying not to throw up – which, to be clear, has nothing to do with the movie, I'm sure – from the spiritual discombobulation that just took place as I learned…

  I've realized this gets a lot of hate for being the absolute worst superhero film ever made, even worse than Batman & Robin. I was curious and had to see it for myself. I went in thinking "Come on, it can't be THAT bad!"

  im desperately searching for where all of the contempt for this movie is coming from because what the hell..... I haven’t had this much fun in so long. and how could you not?? the editing alone will make you nauseous but seeing halle berry play this role like a feral cat in heat will throw you into a whirlwind. 

like rubbing her face all over a ball of catnip and drinking straight up cream type feral cat. I was so naive going into this. when I started all I wanted was to hear her meow.. I didn’t realize I would get that and so much more. fuck the comics, this is a real catwoman!!

  wild. the surrealist fragments of a comic book, adapted by someone who heard the title and took mescaline before sitting down to write. the editing walks the thin line between completely incompetent and kinda genius and ends up being a total mixture of both, there's no rhyme or reason, just ugly early 2000s aesthetics, false digital backgrounds and erratic movements. none of the cinematography choices make sense, the camera is misplaced and janky, the environments inconsistent and fake, the lighting cheap and haunting. it's a nonsensical half baked disaster, each line read plays like total camp with actors who don't know how to capture it (except for sharon stone who fucking kills it) and it ends up being nothing less…
