Decent Shatner documentary about the early years of Star Trek: The Next Generation. A strange topic for him as he's always seemed to have an antipathy toward TNG or at least an indifference.
It's pretty even-handed as almost everybody gets to say their piece even if it contradicts somebody else. Roddenberry's attorney Leonard Maizlish seems to come off the worst (or maybe second season show runner Maurice Hurley).
A good watch for Trek fans who are already familiar with the names involved- I knew most of the story but there was some info I'd never heard before (Patrick Stewart HATES Good Morning America!).
This could've easily been ninety minutes or two hours as they just quickly pass over major stuff like Denise Crosby leaving the show.
A nice supplement to the documentaries which have already appeared on the TNG DVD's and Blu-Rays.
