Nerve-shredding, well-paced and grimly told; Chernobyl is by far the greatest dramatization of human error ever produced for television, emphasising that the toxicity of humanity is just as destructive as the deadly fumes of nuclear energy. This is truly terrifying stuff.
watch me recommend this to everyone i know even if every episode makes me feel like im dead

Begins as visceral, graphic recreation and ends as a systematic breakdown of a government's limitations in what it teaches and what it hides. Mystifying and buried in existential dread.
If you watch something like this and your big takeaway is that it was filmed in English, you may want to reevaluate your priorities
"Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth. Sooner or later that debt has to be paid."
MASTERPIECE.
A triumph. Harrowing. Sad. Dark. Captivating. Sobering. Hard hitting. Brilliant. Devastating. Incredible. Haunting. Chilling. Nauseous.
Chernobyl has officially got me fucked up!! I think I need a therapist. This is more terrifying than any horror movie I've ever seen!! and I'm pretty sure I forgot how to breathe...
Damn that ending.... Fuck fuck fuck.....
Ps. Dyatlov is always a fucking asshole.
Everybody gangsta till the horror movie is based on true events.
Those people, the firemen, soldiers, coal miners and scientists are all heroes in my eyes. They saved the entire Europe, paying the ultimate price. We should have a day dedicated to them when we can honor their sacrifice. RIP all of you!

where to even beginning putting this masterpiece into words... it’s cold, it’s devastating, it’s haunting, it’s tragic but above all it is deeply human. this is essential television, truly phenomenal in every way.
