Disappointed.

Do you hear it?
The tapping on the window?
It's Hollywood.
Don't let them in.
They want to sing to you.
They want to sing you cheap cover versions of songs you sang as a child (even the ones you never cared for).
They're grave robbers.
All previously established properties will be removed from resting places and be refurbished in order to be sold back to us as franchises with international appeal.
Take caution; they're running out of bodies and are desperate for anything that boasts even the faintest glimmer of brand recognition.
Lord, have mercy on us.
This movie was so uncomfortable and unfunny that it made me write my first review after using this app for over 3 months. Most of the jokes miss and are simply awkward. Dax Shepard is just terrible lol. I wish I could have the 90 minutes I spent watching this back.
A crushing disappointment for both fans of the original 1970's television series of the same name and fans of writer, executive producer, director, and lead star Dax Shepard's previous action comedy Hit & Run, CHiPs tries to put a more action-packed, self-aware, lowbrow spin on its source material but doesn't want to offer any actual humor or wit.
Watched this when my son put it on the TV. Were they aware, when they made this, that CHiPS was NOT a comedy series? Just asking because this was......pretty stupid. Is this the state of comedy right now? If so, I'm glad I don't watch a lot of it.
It's not good, but if you want some escape from real life and have a few dumb chuckles than this will work!
It was eh. Going in, I thought Kristen Bell would have more on-screen time, but oh well. The film wasn't too bad. I could see a CHiPs 2.
Bad, but not as bad as I thought it would be. It probably would've been better served as a buddy cop film outside of the CHIPS... 'universe'? It wasn't served any better by being a CHIPS movie, which nobody really needed.
There are times when you wish you could get back the time you wasted on certain films, and this is one of them. Of all the television series that have been rebooted for the big screen, only a couple have been reasonably successful. Films like The Fugitive or The Equalizer got big budget reboots and Hollywood stars to help coax interest in an audience from a new generation. We got 13 Star Trek films, 10 Muppets films, and a host of films inspired by Saturday Night Live, they did well, but others although fairly faithful to the original weren't quite so fortunate. The A-Team was a hoot, I also loved the Dukes of Hazzard film, two personal favourites, but when…
