This is what I get for instantly watching a new random Netflix movie instead of the zillion of movies in my watchlist.

Normally I love absurd shit like this, the stylized and poorly contrived digital game of death gimmick is always entertaining trash for idiots like me… and even though I didn’t love it like other movies of this ilk (Truth or Dare, Would You Rather, Escape Room, 13 Sins, Black Mirror etc) there’s a bunch of ideas and filmmaking choices here that I definitely (and surprisingly) admired… plus the sound design was kinda great and I love dumb shit so I’ll drop a generous 2.5 on this Netflix candy coated elephant turd.
Fantastic Idea + Bad Execution
Those two things are a mixture of most Netflix originals. It's not terrible by any means but I can't help but wonder what would a director like James Wan do with this entire 84 minute runtime
