Oh my god Christina come on. Idk what is up with her, she’s an extremely funny person naturally and I love her on all of her podcasts and stuff but her standup is always so so so so so bad. It’s just like the most cliche “in my generation we didn’t have safe spaces” bullshit. She does a bit about Pepe le pew being problematic. Oh my god so grating
Here’s the deal, man. Main mommy is bringing it. Keeping those jeans high and tight. So glad she came up in May. Keep featherin’ it.
Honestly, this is hilarious. I’m glad I got to see her work on a lot of this material live. And the ending is absolutely beautiful and sweet. Almost had me crying.
Love Christina on YMH but never been a huge fan of her stand up, this was pretty decent tho. Lou Holtz joke was funny as hell. 👖
I'm a big fan of Your Moms House and Where My Moms at. Sadly, Christina's wit and charm in those shows doesn't carry onto the stage, as she's amazingly fast and smart on the podcasts when she's not scripted. It's almost like she's trying so hard to be edgy, which her podcasts also go into, but this feels like she's playing a character and is so much better than this.
Alright, I don’t usually do this, but I couldn’t get through more than 15 minutes of this absolute garbage.
She believe that just because she grew up in a different time that children shouldn’t be raised safely and securely. She advocates for child abuse, defends rapists, and makes ableist comments.
It’s people like THIS that make me glad to be going into education. I pray that I can teach children to be better than this woman.
Absolutely scummy, and I’ll never be watching her work again.
Didn’t get the love for this special that many of people got from it. This really isn’t all that good. There were many times where the joke just could have been so much better, but took a very sharp turnaround backwards. When that wasn’t happening, she was basically shitting on the new generation by denouncing things such as trigger warnings and peanut allergies, calling her generation, Gen X, the best. Needless for me to say, this wasn’t a great special.
“i grew up in a different time! and look at me now” — a weird grown adult who continuously ableist comments and other outdated comments.
