This Christmas themed five minute short film from indie genre filmmaker Henrique Couto(BABYSITTER MASSACRE,HAUNTED HOUSE ON SORORITY ROW) has a young lady(Julia Gomez[AMITYVILLE:NO ESCAPE,CALAMITY JANE'S REVENGE]) taking her severely ill sister's babysitter job for a married couple(Erin R. Ryan[APPLECART,ALONE IN THE GHOST HOUSE],Adam Scott Clevenger[RAGMORK]),with Gomez enjoying the Christmas displays of the house as she is unaware that a masked killer in a Santa Claus costume has infiltrated the house.
CHRISTMAS PRESENCE has fun with its premise and makes the most with it throughout its short running time,with Gomez making an easily appealing heroine and Couto doing a splendid directing job on the film as he colorfully displays everything that is on-screen and enables CHRISTMAS PRESENCE to be an enjoyable short feature.

13 Days of Christmas Terror!! 9 of 13
A girl comes over to babysit at a house that is gorgeously decorated by some hardcore Christmas lovin' folks, but there's something off about that creepy Santa over in the corner. This horror short is going exactly where you think it's going, but its still a fun way to spend 5 minutes. The home itself brings to mind memories of the way Christmas once was and the lead seems like a nice, likable girl. Worth a watch for Christmas horror fans.
