'The FBI and other law enforcement agencies estimate that there are between 30 to 50 serial killers on the loose in the United States... other estimates suggest that the number is closer to 500.'
So begins CLEARWATER, an hour-long no-budget 'thriller' (and I use that term in the loosest of ways).
A young woman, Mellisa (Julie Wand), is abducted. Her assailant (Andy Koontz) drives her to a remote house, where he beats her and ties her to a chair. A man with a propensity for bad jumpers gets up and heads for work. This man is Jonathan (Randy Bowden), and the Clearwater killer has decided…
