Too cute and inarticulate for its own good. The sappy rendition of “we all grow old and aspire for the same dreams we had when we were kids” plays all over this short film and is not done to any sort of unique level. 100% redundant and trite in the story it’s telling. On the flip side the animation looks nice while the pacing works for what it is.

The animation is solid, but I only somewhat enjoyed the story. I am not sure about the message that it sends. It was a little odd. Is the message supposed to be work your life away to reach for your dreams? Or save for the things you really want? It would have been cool if he saved up all of his nickels, paid for a college education, worked for NASA, and became the 17th person to walk on the Moon (or something like like).
Thanks to Brad Garoon for getting this on my Friend's Short Film Watchlist.
Eh, it's nice and cute enough. The animation is okay, but it didn't hit me emotionally as hard as other short films
